You feel the Spirit of Aloha at the door of Walt Disney World’s Polynesian Village Resort. A smile. Aloha and a Lei placed around your neck. Feel the warmth and tropical sensations.F Feel the welcome and appreciation for your being a part of the atmosphere.
The Polynesian Village Resort sits on the Seven Seas Lagoon. One of the original and first resorts built back in 1971. It has seen expansion starting in 1978, culminating in the most recent additions in 2015. The Disney Vacation Club constructed bungalos which extend over the water to provide an experience out of this world.
Wander around the main level and head to the left as you see a Tiki marking the pathway. The Tiki is a large wooden or stone image representing a family member or someone you highly honor,as in worshiping like they are a god. Not certain who this represents, but I am certain he is ready for some fun!
The entrance to The Spirit of Aloha experience is marked with a large stone statue, one that has provided a fun photo opportunity for our family through the years.
The smells of the warm and delicious foods and the sounds of the drums and rythmic polynesian music will instantly grab your attention. This luau is one you will enjoy, witht the various musical and dance performances, and plenty of delicious food. Click on the Disney Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show to see a complete menu and details.
