Fingers graze the rail,
toes are slipping down the trail,
you are innocently laying in bed,
unaware of bizarre that sits in your head.
you’re crazy and don’t know it,
they won’t say it,but you show it.
your brain seeps pain,
your insane, it weeps, sane
you think you are the person next door,
you round the corner,
and are no more
it gives you a moment of clear thought
then marks your eyes with dark blots
it drinks all of your strength
leaving your torn feet beneath
as in the night the wings flap
then fright sings you a trap
shadows drift over the moon
crazy will sift in to your mind you soon.
