Fall Equinox or Autumn season officially began this past Thursday, September 22, 2016 in North America. This has been felt with the shortening of the daylight periods, the lengthening of darkness. For some of us commuters it means the roadways being a little darker as we travel in the early mornings or early evenings.
For many of the beautiful flowers that have provided us with warm and vibrant colors this summer, it means that their blooms will not be around for much longer.
Yellow Marigolds taking in to the suns rays
Take time during your travels and adventures to appreciate the blooms around where you are located. Notice the variety and intensity of all the colors that have called out to the sun for the past few months.
Red Knockout Roses share a colorful scene with orange and yellow Marigolds
Winter Solstice will officially begin in North America on December 21, 2016. I truly enjoy all the Holidays and Family time that comes with the end of the year. It means however, that these colors will be lost till next Spring.
Thank you for all your time and beauty…
