A young brother and a sister. Growing up, learning skills, figuring out who to trust.
There is familiarity, and slowly hunger wins out…
Little sister is not so quick to march in
She offer a little encouragement for me to leave
Didn’t seem to work, he is still here…
Not quite ready to trust

What beautiful photos and a great little story. Mr Midnight, Sir Winston and myself, from the blog “Gilmours Nice Place” thoroughly enjoyed your article. Mr Midnight and Sir Winston would love to play with your two kitties but I explained to them that your cats are only internet stars and live too far away.
Meow, purr purr and thanks for posting. 🙂

Thank you for reading and following along, you never know Mr. Midnight and Sir Winston someday may need to travel to Tennessee (lol). Please post or send some pics of your two cats.

They would love to travel to Tennessee but Mr Midnight is frightened of aeroplanes and Sir Winston is very insecure about the American way of pronouncing english words. You never know though do you. 🙂
Thank you for your kind reply.

Good for you for offering help! This reminds me of the ferals I’ve been working with at my church. I just got to pet mama cat today for the first time without her running away. It was because she was really hungry. Patience with gentleness leads to progress where trust is concerned.

Very true!

We will keep working with them, and hoping with time, they will come to feel safe. Hope you are able to reach out similarly to the ferals at your church. Thanks for reading and reaching out.
