One of our favorite adventures is to walk the streets and avenues of cities. This provides us with a much better feel for what it would be like to live and play if we lived in that city. The smells, the sounds, and the sights are always very memorable. This is where you find the niche shops and local restaurants that provide the real taste of that city.

A beautiful pink bloom on a crab apple tree in late summer. Sometimes we feel all alone with our troubles and cares. God will provide strength to carry you through all difficulties, His strength is sufficient.

Hold On As Long As You Can

Fall Equinox or Autumn season officially began this past Thursday, September 22, 2016 in North America. This has been felt with the shortening of the daylight periods, the lengthening of darkness. For some of us commuters it means the roadways being a little darker as we travel in the early mornings or early evenings.
For many of the beautiful flowers that have provided us with warm and vibrant colors this summer, it means that their blooms will not be around for much longer.

Our youngest daughter called-“Momma, I am so sorry,but I ran out of gas on the way to take the kids to school. I am on the side of a very busy road.”
Momma-“Baby, you need to be more aware and keep gas in your car. That is not only bad for your car, but dangerous for you.”
Momma gets in her van. Oh darn, I’m almost out of gas. Takes gas can, puts gas in daughter’s car. They drive off.
Momma gets in van. Won’t start. Out of GAS!
What was my best? Call daughter, tell her I’m sorry, I need her! LOL
